For such items, the minimum to qualify for free shipping is $2500 if the shipping address is within 200 miles of your nearest American Copper & Brass Distribution Facility, otherwise shipping charges apply.

Larger HVAC trunk ductwork is charged at $50 for 1-4 pieces, and $150 for 5+ pieces.

Some heavier items will ship via freight carrier. Other heavier items are only able to ship to states within ACB truck routes from one of the six warehouses. Once material has shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number(s) of your package(s). Your email will contain an estimated delivery date.



Our delivery options vary based on the products selected to purchase. We offer delivery on our local trucks for larger items within a defined radius of our warehouse, and typically ship all other items via UPS. Common terms we offer would be Economy (5-8 business days), Standard (3-4 business days), and Express (1-2 business days). Please note these are shipping times, which are additional to fulfillment times.


Orders placed for in-stock items with express shipping before 3 p.m. EST will be fulfilled the day they are placed. Express orders placed after 3 p.m. EST will be fulfilled the following business day.



Inventory and lead time messages are updated daily to maintain accuracy and are subject to change as orders are processed throughout the day. If your order contains both in stock and out-of-stock items, those available will ship first. When the remainder of the order comes in, it will ship separately. This does not affect shipping costs.



UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. All addresses should include a street address, city, state, and postal code. If special instructions are necessary, please note them on the checkout page.

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping information; this includes matching the address with the correct postal code as entered in the checkout process. If UPS cannot find the shipping destination due to customer error in entering the address, the shipping costs associated with returning the package to American Copper and Brass and re-shipping the package to its correct address will be the responsibility of the customer. If after the package returns to American Copper and Brass, a customer decides not to re-ship, the order will be subject to standard return policies, including restocking fees.

If you wish to cancel an order that has already shipped, you will need to set up a return and send the material.
